KERTAIN STRAIGHTING AND REPAIR SYSTEM NOW EXCLUSIVLY AVAILABLE @ JIBE
The Nano keratin System is the most innovative and progressive hair straightening and repair method in the world. The name Nanokeratin stems from the term “nano-molecules of keratin”. A nano-molecule is 0.000000001 of the size of a regular molecule, thus allowing it to penetrate the smallest fissures in the client’s hair and fill them with keratin (the substance that makes hair strong, shiny and soft). As a result of the process, hair becomes smooth, healthy and full of shine.
Guaranteed 100% successful for all hair types! for further information please follow this link

Hair @ Jibe Sponsor African Primary School !

Hair @ Jibe is the proud sponsor of Ngumeni Primary School !
Although we are in an economic downturn this is nothing compared to the poverty in Africa. A client of ours is the Headmaster at Stanwix Primary school in Carlisle who does a learning swap for African teachers to help provide them with an insight into our teaching to help improve their teaching methods and schools, teachers from a school called Ngumeni Primary school in Moshi Town, Tanzania were here in June so we decided to donate a brand new Jibe sponsored football strip for their school. The teachers were overwhelmed and to see their reaction when we presented them with it was priceless as they don’t have anything due to the extreme poverty in the area. Our idea is to hopefully get the kids some sort of unity and team spirit, they have promised to send us a picture of their first school team in the strip so watch out for the next magazine!

Wigton Salon expanded!
We would firstly like thank our Wigton clients for the warm welcome we have received since we opened.
Since we opened in August the salon has become increasingly busier, so much so that we have had to expand! We always had a vision of how we wanted the salon to look and run so we can offer the highest professional service in relaxed surroundings, we have created a large room upstairs adding a further 7 styling stations and 2 further hair wash basins, this has effectively more than doubled the size of the Wigton salon.
This area is the new colour room where clients can sit and relax whilst having colour work without being in the direct view of passers by and without hairdryers blasting away beside them, this is the same concept as we have in our Carlisle salon and works extremely well, this will help us to keep taking the business forward and setting the high standards of hairdressing and customer care our clients new and old come to expect and deserve.

Bumble and bumble began as a salon in 1986 in New York. Founder Michael Gordon was disappointed at the time with the products on the market available to his stylists. They were using and array of different products from different brands. It was clear that there was nothing on the market to meet the demand for a good strong styling range and so the Bumble and bumble product range was born!
Fans of Bumble include movie star Natalie Portman, who loves Alojoba Shampoo and Conditioner, Desperate Housewife Terri Hatcher has a passion for Surf Spray and Radio DJ Zoe Ball loves Sumotec.

Jibe Wins Clynol's Salon Design of the Year 2006!
Press Release
Just a few weeks ago, Hair @ Jibe was short-listed in three categories in the annual Clynol Hairdressing Awards and, as a result, February was a tense month for staff. On Sunday 25th February though, the wait was over, and at Clynol’s glittering Weekend of Excellence, the winners were announced revealing Hair @ Jibe as the victor in the category of Salon Design of the Year 2006.
Proprietors Jason and Elizabeth Brierley are absolutely thrilled with the outcome: “The weekend was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves – winning Salon Design of the Year was the icing on the cake. I think we stood out as much for the personal effort that we put into the salon refurbishment as for the design itself. We did almost all of the work ourselves, apart from the plumbing and electrics, down to the addition of walls and restoration of an original, antique staircase. The look is modern and spacious with a definite touch of opulence – very different and very eye-catching.”
To enter the category of Salon Design of the Year 2006, Hair @Jibe had to submit a set of photographs that gave the judges a real feel for the mood, look and quality of the salon. The prize, annually presented to the most beautiful and striking looking salon that also makes it easier for staff and clients to enjoy the experience, is a trophy for proud display in the salon and two tickets to an exciting business forum at London’s Ivy restaurant, where fellow diners and leading experts in hairdressing will share their ideas and thoughts on best business practices and salon successes.
